Please HELP!!! My save slot is GONE ;-(

My progress in the game is missing! On 13 May 2018, I have progressed to at least 30% in-game. I had opened the game a few times and saw it but did not continue to play the game because I had no time. Yesterday I wanted to play the game and continue from where I stopped but my save slot was showing 24% and it was far behind where it was supposed to be when I opened that save slot. I did not interfere with any files in folders that Steam manages all these months and nobody uses my computer. I only accepted Steam updates and game updates when Steam provides them and I have been playing Mortal Kombat X these last few months. Is my save slot somewhere in Steam's servers???

I had already came to the snowy mountain scene for the first time and climbed up that long pole and fine tuned the radio and the man's voice says "Lara you're my hero". I slid back down to the snowy mountain. And all that is now lost. My save slot is now at an older camp site where I (Lara) get caught with a foot trap and hang upside down with a rope and have to shoot a few guys while im upside down.

How do I get my real progress back???

Maybe searching for answers on the Internet imstead of asking for help in community is a better choice.
In another way, if you love it deeply, you can play it again just like me who played the pirate product into 20% progress and then bought the legal copy. ´_>`
