Stereoscopic 3D grayed out

Hi,

We are all waiting for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, so I decided to replay both titles - although this time in 3D, but this time I found out in the Tomb Raider (2013) the Stereoscopic 3D is grayed out for some reason.

Yes, I do have a capable 3D monitor, and Rise of the Tomb Raider works like a charm in “Side by Side” mode -so do other games with native 3D SBS and movies.

I tried enable Stereo through the registry - not working. I have enabled Stereocopic 3D in Nvidia Control, etc. Like I said Rise is working in 3D.

It must be a game!

Tried through in game setting, Alt Tab, changed resolutions, refresh rates, fullscreen... Nothing works somfar, and I am out of ideas,

The game is great and fun, It is also working in 4k no problems on the TV, but not in 3D on monitor.

I have a GTX 1070.

Any suggestions?

I have a benq and nvidia glasses you can only set the strenght and pop out setting not side by side like ROTTR.

I cannot enable 3D in settings, not in a startup menu, not even in game settings - so, I cant set up strength and pop out as is both settings in grey.

Does your emitter turn green when you start the game?All I can say is uninstall then reinstall the game.

Yes, my emmiter turns green, even I am not in the game, just launcher.

I reinstall it already, the resault is same.

does control+T turn 3D on?

In your Nvidia settings did you check the 3D box and turn it on? Also did you in the drop down menu set it to always run in 3D thats where you set it and all games that support 3D the emitter will light up.Set the 3D slider to max.Now go and check the game and see if you can check the box to turn it on.Try that first then get back to us.

NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D is turned on, and it works. The test pass. Rise of the Tomb Rider and other 3D enabled content works. I just cant find the specific (3D) settings for Tomb Raider in NVIDIA control panel under 3D- its just normal stuff like AA, buffering etc.

Try this start the game hit play after the game starts hit escape now in that menu go too graphics and try turning it on from that big black menu.Set your resolution mine is 144hz turn on 3D set both sliders too max set your shadow FSAA and so on try that if that dont help I dont know what to say I just get through playing and it works fine there is some thing your just not doing right in a setting.

Not workin in game menu - otherwise would not be a problem. The setting is grayed out no matter what I do :(

Do you have it set to exculsive full screen plus the full screen check both of them boxes and see if that helps.
