Hi. I downloaded the game run it and it gave me that error. Whatever I did, I couldn't fix it. Error is:
This game requires a DirectX9.0c capable graphic card. Your card or driver does not support DirectX9.0c 3D Acceleration.
I have GTX 1050 Ti and my driver is up to date. I didn't have any problem since I formated my pc. Also solutions on the internet didn't fix the problem. How can I fix this?

Try verifying the game and if that doesn't help navigate to the Tomb Raider directory, find the redists folder and re-run the DX installer that is in there.

I already did them but that didn't fix it.

have motherboard graphics? maybe game is using that instead of nvidia card. go into nvidia control panel and force game to use nvidia card.

I already tried that too but I'm not sure if I could do it so I will look at it again.

boot into bios, disable motherboard graphics, reboot. game/steam can only recognize nvidia card. bios menu item under "Integrated Peripherals" or "On-Board Devices

havent tried it but this might work running in windows:
START > Control Panel > System > Select the "Hardware" tab > Device Manager > Display Adapters. Right click on the intel integrated graphics accelerator) and select DISABLE.

It still doesn't work.

press help top of window then system information. copy paste everything here. maybe someone will spot something. I have windows 10 and the latest nvida driver and the game works.
