in the beginning you cant. after the intro you get the ability.

i played the whole game without sprinting. why? i was playing controller and didnt know how to haha

It's automatic, shift is for dodge/roll, you can toggle walk if you like but there is no button to hold to sprint unless in multiplayer.

It auto runs in this game. If you hold leftshift in rise of the tomb raider you can run tho I think thats where people get that from. Hope this helps :)

You can't sprint in this game, but you can do bunny hopping to speed up a bit with the risk of falling over the cliff or get caught by the enemies.

Left shift make Lara crouch down and crawl quickly for a split second, not sprint.

Why can i not run straight with keyboard and mouse?? keeps moving on a angle
