So 6 core, that could either be a i7 970 from 2010 or a i7-6850K from 2016.
Depending on which cpu you actually have it could very well be the issue.
Anyway just run a monitoring tool next to the game and see if you have any cores that are (close to ) maxed out. Throwing more cores at it doesn't do any good if the game is not programmed for it. For that matter I still need to come across a game that is perfectly programmed to utilize all 4 cores, let alone 6 cores.
You could also try playing with your resolution.
I'm having framerate problems also, with an i5 6600k and GTX 1060, so there shouldn't be any problem...
Ugh. Glad I didn't pay much for this game then :/
Think I'm gonna give up too. Thanks for replying!
I bought a dlc skin but when i equipped it the game just lagged out. Unequiping the skin stopped the problem...
Yeah I never even tried any of the DLC. Game sounds like it's a buggy mess though.
As for the artifacts you are seeing when the game starts, I have run this game on 3 different machines and seen the same so it's either a game or driver bug, probably unrelated to your performance issues and probably nothing to worry about.
