Far Cry 3 will have co-op and MP and from what i know the co-op is devided into 6 - 30 minute segments and the MP is not as fluid as a Call of Duty and isnt as polished when comparing to MP fps kings in terms of feel, mechanics etc BUT it will offer a change in backdrops and setting but will not really offer innovation by way of not doing anything better or new = same old same old but im sure it will be worthy and pretty solid overall just dont think it will have legs for the long haul but in any event it will extend the length of far cry 3 exp and the campaign will easily be 15 hours ( prob double if doing all side quests and exploring the entire map , which is very big )..
The contracts mode extends gameplay to say the least and is quite addictive and very fun, more stuff to unlock as well.
I enjoy the contracts mode because other hitman players have detrmained the hit/hits as well as the elements within them i.e bare hands, no alert etc and they have also done the contract in the exact manner as it is given and i can say that it has been a worthy "side note" which has and will continue to extend my gameplay.
I cant wait for far cry 3 but if someone told me that i had to sacrifice my hitman for it them i would be going w/o far cry 3 , this being said after playing/owning hitman.
Also I.O is aware about the disguise issues and will address it , in case you heard about this etc..
I cant recommend hitman enough and if you are a fan of hitman or games like it then you will get more than your moneys worth with it ..
Some games will try and urge the gamer to play or beat again but lacks incentive but in some rare cases a game demands it and hitman is one of them, my favorite part about the game is not playing a mission for the first time but re-playing them to find a better way ( i highly suggest no wiki or guide for this, almost unlawful w/ a hitman game) and if you look you will always find a better way and they are not just subtle minor differences but a whole new exp of a contract when done differently.
So maybe thats also something to consider = get em both cus you may not buy another new release til say Bioshock or in terms of date/month = jan / feb earliest.
In that case Absolution is just not worth your money. Maybe get it at 50% discount, coz 50% of the game sucks anyway.
I won both so not hating on cod..
