How do I register the game when steam version doesn't have a cd-key?

Anybody have an answer for us? I thought perhaps linking my squenix account with my steam account would do it but to no avail

Yeah, I can't figure out how to register my game with square enix either. Linking steam account doesn't work, and there is no cd key for my steam version :/

I have an answer but you wont like it. I've been back and forth with Steam and Square Enix and all anyone can tell me is you don't get a CD key with the Steam version so you cannot register.

Posting the responses if that helps:

In order to access the content from the Hitman Sniper Challenge you will need to
register your redemption code obtained from the retailer where you pre-ordered.
The code should be in the following format: 123456-AAA-123456-AAA and must be
redeemed at www.hitmansniper.com. With regards to the SQUARE ENIX Members
Product Registration Code, unfortunately digital copies of our games do not
include these codes and therefore cannot be registered to SQUARE ENIX Members.

And the steam one is absolutely useless as I think the person who replied didn't even read the ticket b4 replying.

OMFG.... this sucks, all the perks of registering our games are completely unavailable to us. someone should try talking to IO because they are somewhat more vested in their products apparently. they at least should listen to your concerns.(<---scandinavian countries are cool like that)

Wow... yeah this is pretty messed up. So we played the Sniper Challenge and unlocked all of that stuff for the rifle for nothing, huh?

Go to>> http://ica.hitman.com/
Login then select Agent Login
Then at top right click on down arrow and select User Settings
Now select Linked accounts
Now click on the Steam Link Button.
With all this done Sniper Challenge has updated in Absolution
