Do the graphics seem bad to you?

I really am disliking the low FPS, running on high on a 7850 and it looks rather meh, is it my GPU or the game? Personally I think it is the game, not that I need a 7970 lol

Should have been more specific, I mean the FPS, I did say that, the grpahics are decent but the FPS are rather low, need to up them, do you think a driver update will fix it?

Just turned on V sync, thi shas helped slightly, forgot to turn it on, as I have it on all my games, even though the FPS do go down slightly.

Has anyone got any BSOD yet with this game?

Starting to like the graphics, but the FPS are low, once that is fixed the game will be rather good.

It would have to be your settings... and resolution. The game is basically the highest tier in terms of visual quality outside of tech demos even surpassing Crysis Warhead, Metro 2033, and numerous other new titles. Tweak the settings some and see if you can get better FPS because I doubt it is your GPU under performing and low FPS doesn't make a game look bad anyways... Drivers should be out tomorrow or soon that may resolve any performance issues some may experience.

That is helpful thanks, I tried lowering to lowest, and it only went up 10 FPS, wishing I brought a 7970 now!

I've got a GTX 570 and found most of my settings were turned on 'Medium'. With a bit of tweaking I got my settings to Ultra and I reckon the game looks absolutely gorgeous! It's up there with Crysis 2 and Metro 2033 in terms of quality.

Xengre is right. FPS only determines how smooth the game will look when it comes to any sort of movement as each movement you see is a single image. As more of these images are taken at once and played back, it gives the illusion of movement. (Forgive me as I'm still learning graphics, animation terms and analogies so if I'm inaccurate here then I apologize in advance)

Upping the graphics will make it look pretty but your FPS may suffer for it depending on your card. (Since you have a current High-End card, you shouldn't have an issue with FPS or graphical quality)

Try tweaking the settings on your card or updating the drivers for your card as this can help as well. I used to have a PhysX issue on Borderlands 2 before I updated my graphics drivers. No issue now after the update.

I agree they don't look great and in some places GTAIV looks better but what you're describing is they look absolutely terrible.

You're right about the FPS, so we done there, hoping that a driver update will make the GPU more effective, as it isn't a bad card, might have a go at overclocking later on.

Benchmark on Ultra on my desktop - i7 2600K (stock), GTX670 2GB (306.97), 8GB RAM
Min 48.6fps, Max 124.3fps, Av. 57.2fps

In the actual game it's running really smoothly and looks nice

I have everything Maxed out except for FXAA. On a 7970. Only thing that bothers me is that is just a bit too "bloomy" with the lighting but I haven't made any tweaks to lighting(Global Illumination or SSAO) to see if it could be adjusted.
If you haven't grabbed them there is a new set of 12.11's out(-Beta 8[www.guru3d.com] and also new CAP's[www.guru3d.com] Both contain Hitman specific fixes.

Certainly a good place to start ;)

Did consider a GTX 670 back then but want a AMD so got this, and it was out of my price range back then/ Hopefully the update will get me a extra 5-10 fps then It'll be okay as long as the BSOD stops it's show!
