Problem with F1 key...Please help!

I'm playing on my laptop which presents a problem with viewing objectives, etc. Pressing F1 opens Windows Help by default. Is there a way to remap my F1 key for this game? I don't see an option to do so in the game menu. Looks like I won't be able to play the game until I find a workaround. :-(

Windows functions shouldn't work in game. Are you playing fullscreen or in a window?

Full screen. I've never been able to use my F1-F12 keys for gaming on this laptop. They are all pre-assigned except for F5, but it doesn't even work for saving/loading. I've always remapped the keys. Too bad the developers didn't think of that when they programmed this game. I was reading online. This has happened to other gamers. I found an option to disable the F1 key, but not to remap it. I'll try contacting the developers. I really don't think I'll get to play the game, though. Do you know if auto hotkey would work for this? I'm glad I got the game for $5.

There is a fn button your keyboard it is near the windows key if you hold while pressing f1 it will work I looked up on youtube
