Awful FPS
I bought Hitman Absolution about a month ago, I thought I'd be able to run it at a playable FPS, apparantly not. I was getting 2-3 FPS with lowest settings (literally)
I don't have a NASA supercomputer, just an ordinary laptop. But i thought if I can run TF2, with 24 people shooting at each other, I could walk about doing nothing just fine.
I can't even make it past the Tutorial level. Any help or advice?
If you need computer specs, tell me how to gte them as I know very little about computers.
I had to uninstall the game because it was lagging out my whole computer as well - TF2, web browser etc.

TF2 doesnt really take much to run to be honest. sorry that you cant play this great game though.
for windows 7 press windows key R type dxdiag
This is one of those games that has been optimized for PC and uses a unique game engine. I am able to play it at a decent setting and it destroys consoles.

This game is worth upgrading your PC for. I wish we had more PC games that would push the envelope like this. It is the only way that PC tech will evolve.

Only thing I could recommend is making sure you have the updated video driver from the maker of the vid card (not windows update). A laptop will be a tough fit though, unless you built it or it is a gamer laptop.

you need to look up your laptop specs online or through your control panel, system specifications. Also, I suggest learning more about the requirements in order to run a game, it's listed at the bottom of the game description on every game in the store page. Those details are very important if you wish to run games like this in the future. Tf2 is nothing on your cpu like this game is.

you can search the game that you may like and check if youre systeem can handle it.
Requires a small software installed onto youre systeem for the check. so you dont have to find these out youreself if you dont know any of this.
Think youre CPU can mem and GPU is low.
that weird i run it on ultra settings acroos 3 moniters an hav 3d runnig as well an im getting about 40-50 fps ! Maybe u need to update ur drivers to latest 1

You have a low end laptop there, with Intel graphics to boot. Your poor results are not surprising. If you want a cheap gaming capable laptop ($400-$500) look into AMD A-series laptops. They actually come with integrated graphics that are good enough for low-res (768p) gaming.
Gaming grade laptops with Core i5/i7 CPUs go for about $1000 more. You'll pay more, but you'll get a bigger beefier machine that's capable of playing games at higher framerate at higher resolution (1080p) with all the bells and whistles.

If you want to do serious gaming go to desktop.. youll get more for the $1000. And you get a bigger feeling for upgrading pc components.
And after years later you making desktops youre own. And later you Over Clock youre CPU etc. This is how i got started.
I think I may as well save up for a cheaper gaming laptop as kray suggests.
You should definitely get a cheap-ish gaming laptop. I have one with integrated graphics and I can run AC3 at a decent fps and I'm pretty sure AC3 needs the same requirements to run as Hitman.
If I was to get a Gaming Laptop for about $500, what FPS would I roughly be getting with lowest settings?
Well, lowest resolution for me is about 800x600 and I haven't used that because it strains my eyes too much but I play at 1260x720 and I get about 20fps on AC3 which isn't the worst. I would also suggest trying to stretch your budget a little bit more because games also need a half decent processor, I would suggest around the $600 mark.

Please don't get another low end laptop, they cause a lot more problems than they are worth if you want to game that is, because in a few months a new game that you want will come out and you will run into this problem again. if you can save up and buy a decent desktop or better yet make one, for $700-800 im sure you can make a decent gaming rig, their are a lot of guides on YouTube about this. But if you really cant afford that i'm ashamed that i'm even suggesting this just buy a xbox or something at-lest you know the games your gona buy for it will run. No serious gamer will ever suggest you buy a laptop especially a low end one, as they say you get what you pay for.
