Saved games gone, back to 0 progress

I've played a few missions, just finished the bit where I have to get my 2 baller guns back from the ammo store/shooting range. Now when I start a game up I cannot continue, the option is disabled and I'm at 0 progress. Anyone else had this and is there a fix? I've done the local data integrity thing but that didn't work.

Try disabling the Steam Cloud for the game. That worked for me. Kept resetting me to mission 4/20 every time I quit the game. Let me know if this helps.

Nope, I think the problem is that I didn't have that enabled at first, then when I went back in the continue option was greyed out. It was only then I enabled the cloud, still wouldn't let me in, disabled it again, no luck. The only file I can find in the saved games folder is called hm5, should there be more?

Having the same problem, continue is greyed out progress is back to 0%. Disheartning to turn the game back on to find my progress gone and having to replay an earlier level all over again.

A similar thing happened to me, I got set back 2 full episodes, many hours of progress and getting all challenges fully done, gone..

I might continue later, for saving your progress I would recommend making manual backups of the save game here, so in case it happens again, you can always go back to your last manual backup.
