Do I need to play previous Hitman games to understand story/like this game more?

Nope I just got this on the xmas sale never played the others... doing fine. PRetty cool, however my kill em all mentality gives me -negative points a lot lol

What I would say is that it's more likely you might want to go back later and play them because it's been pretty good so far

I got along fine without playing any of the other ones, fantastic game. The in game lore told me everything I needed to know.

Brilliant story line and naa woundt need to play the ones before but if you enjoyed it no harm in having a go all the games got somthing good about it espialy the games with teh Gun Rooms :D

No you dont have to. Of the previous games, the only part that seems to connect is Diana, and how she saved 47's life. Which If I am not mistaken, connects with Blood Money, where Diana uses a faux death serum on 47 and then he wakes up at his funeral and slaughters everyone in sight.
