I could make a crappy game, then pin 200 achievemtns on it, ranging from "clear 3 enemies in one jump" to "keep playing past the 10th mission, even though this game sucks". It will not make the game any more enjoyable, for people like me.
Here, I will make simplify that statement for you, so you don't get confused:
"I waited quite a long time for the new Hitman game to come out. I am also over the age of 18. Good day."
Also, I hoped that if I kept playing, the gameplay might get better. Sadly, it did not.
I still remember that this game was presented in quite a different light, too, before it's release. Stay vigilant.
- Big open maps. No linear gameplay like in Absolution. Just put us in the map, and let us decide where to go and what to do.
- Big hideout. The best hideout was in Silent Assassin 2. You literally got an entire church ground as your hideout, complete with pigs, birds, watermelons, and scarecrows.
- Going back to levels you completed with any weapons. Just like in the old games.
- Being able to take melee weapons to your hideout. That was the funnest part of Silent Assassin, having to decide whether you want to take the Sniper Rifle or the Golf Club out of the level, and then going back to get whatever you weren't able to take with you on your first play-through.
- More random events. Blood Money had a bunch of chicks that would try to seduce you on missions, only to kill you. That was pretty cool.
- Easter Eggs.
