Terminus Hotel Crash
Not sure if anyone else has come across this particular crash problem but every single time I enter the elevator in the Terminus hotel my game crashes to desktop every single time without fail at the exact same spot for some odd reason. I verified my game cache and all my drivers are up to date. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and still it makes no difference. So at this point I have no idea what could be causing this problem. Just wondering if anyone else has or had this problem and found a proper solution to this issue. The funny thing is I've run this game before without incident long ago and had no such problems. That's the part that has me so confused at the moment. I played this game back on Windows 8 and 8.1 now I'm using Windows 10. Have there been any major issues with this game on Windows 10 I should know about?

Fair enough you can play on your Windows 10 but I was specifically looking for a solution to fix my particular problem. You added nothing to this discussion with that statement sir. I am no closer than I was before to fixing this problem...

I'm sorry for that :)
I got the same problem m8
same problem, I have stated in another post this game doesn't seem to work on advanced PC's including Win 10 64bit.
hımm hard crash
I ran into this issue myself and ended up figuring out what the problem was. Ill quote myself from a thread I made about the exact same issue.

"Ok, so I may be on to something. I managed to open the crash dump file by using the site http://dumps.metastruct.uk.to/

According to the dump file the error is as follows.

Crash reason: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE
Crash address: 0x71d36f10

Thread 29 (crashed)
0 SS2OSD.dll + 0x5222
eip = 0x73855222 esp = 0x4548e948 ebp = 0x4548e994 ebx = 0x4548ea64
esi = 0x738932b8 edi = 0x71d36f10 eax = 0x00000083 ecx = 0x71d36f10
edx = 0x00000000 efl = 0x00010202
Found by: given as instruction pointer in context

There is a large list there but going on what little knowldege I have about reading crash dump files I assumed that the ss2osd.dll is to blame since it was at the top. I looked up the dll file and it is used in the following applications.

Parent Process

The following application is the parent process for the ss2osd.dll extecutable.
aisuite3.exe 1.0.0.0 (82dbad3618e982bd0209a6829635ba1ee46f2cdd)

Installed With

ss2osd.dll is installed together with the following files.
ss2devprops.dll (1a8fd7365e9a62c54b4b0d01719411ed1a7a2b82)
ss2svc32.exe (67c5322e20237727809b48ca05a346f6a4cc2560)
nahimicv2nscontrol.dll (620b79c63770f5ba95e92b1e50a1948ac6eb1332)
ss2uilauncher.exe (ed86444e6c645cee58e02a320c35202f71272a98)
sradarlauncher.dll (fc4ac82e7732157767c1ab0050783039af3bd637)
SonicStudio.exe 2.2.7.24800 (3d113361ed5374b7dd19263df350683cecc1fec9)

I opened the task manager and ended ss2svc32.exe as well as ss2uilauncher.exe and restarted the game. I actually could make it past the elevator after ending these programs. I am going to do some more testing and report back if it crashes on me again."

So there you have it. After closing those two applications I could get past the elevator and never had the issue again.
^I am having the elevator crash, but I don't have those two processes...
Mee too WIn 10 64. GTX960, i7 5700HQ, 16G. Compatiblity to win 7, all drivers upgraded and even turned down video settings. All failed to get past elevator.
I got your back with a real answer. Had same problem. Have solution. Right click on your game in the steam list. Choose properites, then choose local files in the tab, then view integrity of game cache. Let Steam run it's check. When I did it, it found 3 missing files. It downloaded them (so not a complete re-download) just 3 small files. And bingo!! Now I can get past that scene without a crash. Hope it works for you too.

If you read my post carefully verifying my game cache was one of the first things I did and it did absolutely nothing for me...... Well nice that it worked for you I guess....
Oh sorry. Got excited I guess after 20 game crashes...:steamsad:
OP's fix worked for me! Killed of ss2svc32.exe and ss2uilauncher.exe. Works like a charm now! Thanks!
Anyone else got any fixes for this?? I've tried:

- Updating graphics.
- Veryifying cache.
- Turning off Dedicated Full screen.
- Changing Graphics settings.
- Uninstalling - Reinstalling the game.
- Stopping the ss2svc32.exe as well as ss2uilauncher.exe processes and restarting game.

Absolutely nothing fixes the fact that this game crashes constantly on the Terminus Hotel and other cut scenes. Love the hitman series, and this game looks to be top notch, but such a shame I can't play this damned thing now.
