Keeps crashing on Windows 10 (SOLVED)

Everytime i launch benchmark or try to start game from main menu i get ' has stopped working' .Can somebody help me with this?

well i fixed it by verifying integrity of game cache. apparently there were 2 gb of corrupted files!runs smooth now without any crashes

go to library, then right click hitman absolution, properties,local files, verify integrity.

How long does it usually take to complete this process? And do I have to have my internet turned on to do this?

yes you need a internet connection .it can take around 2-10 min to verify, after that it will redownload the corrupted files(IF YOU HAVE CORRUPTED FILES) . my hitman absolution download had 2 gb of corrupted files, so it downloaded that after verifying

I can load the game up but when sometimes on the first screen it crashes, other times I get lucky enough to get to the first cutscene of a new game and it crashes then, and yes, even after I have verified integrity.

as in computer? Windows 7 Intel Core 13 Dell Laptop with Intel(R) HD Graphics, if you mean something else by OS please do tell.

thats it ! if i remember correctly this game has issues with windows 7. you need to install service pack 1 inorder for the game to work
belive me, i had the exact same issue long ago. i had to reinstall windows 7 with service pack1.
game is incompatible with stock windows 7.
so you either install service pack 1 or windows 10 and the game will run like a charm.
