Contracts mode not working?

Ok so I know this a common problem, and an old one at that, but I'd like some help with the issue. How do I access Contracts mode? It says the hitman servers are offline. Are they just permanently disable for some players? Have they been taken down? Is there a way to actually access them? Some help would be appreciated, because so far I have yet to find a solution. (I have registered to the square enix website thing)

So that means that contracts for mac may not be fixed at all?

For some reason, there has been a lot of complaints about users who use Mac not being able to specifically use Contracts Mode. There has not been a reported fix, and I don't think the developers plan to push an update to fix it unless a lot of people complain about the situation. What's hard about the situation is Mac's are not commonly used for gaming due to most people with Steam having their personal gaming computers. The only real tip there is to give would be just to use it on a different computer.

Well I use windows and it doesn't work either.

That's odd, I run Windows 7 Premium on my laptop and works just fine.
