At the game's ending,We see Birdie and that detective talking.What happens after that? nobody mentioned Birdie and that detective.I hope 47 tracks down Birdie and that detective in the next hitman game.

The "next hitman game" is HITMAN (season 1) (2016) and it's sequel HITMAN (season) 2 (2018), their story takes place in 2019, a full 6 years after Absolution

Birdie and the detective are an irrelevant footnote in the life of 47 who is a world traveler and isn't going to be caught by some local cop

You're two games behind and H2 has it's own cliff hanger to continue from.

The Hitman Prologue takes place in 1999 as a prequel to the entire series, but the actual season content is 2019, all the other games took place in between and were just 47 at work or on missions

The assassination of Richard Strong was 2012, the main events were 2013. The novel (Damnation) which leads up to the events is 2011-2012.

If you want to be technical Richard Strongs assassination was Sniper Challenge, but the games were released together and not sold seperately.
