How to fix binkw32.dll error - Avast Anti Virus issue

I found the fix to this issue if you are using Avast. Thanks to noahmarley and others but wanted to place it in an easy to understand format. If you are trying to play the game and it does nothing when you press play you likely have the missing binkw32.dll error. I use Avast and if you follow the below it should fix the problem.

EVERYONE, if you have Avast, go into your virus chest and restore binkw32.dll (optional as it may work without you doing that) then go into real time shield. Make an exception under the Exclusion tab in Expert Settings for the Black Ops II game folder (usually in your steam folder). There is no need turn the entire anti virus off (that's crazy and very unsafe). JUST MAKE EXCEPTION. This did it for me many others and you will see. You should be able to play the game now. Hope this helps others and thanks to the community for helping to figure this one out. We just want to play!

Go to maintenance folder on the left side of Avast

This works, make sure to restore both binkw32 files. There are 2 locations thats its found it. after i restored the 2nd one, it launched.

Also, binkw32 files are misleading, as all games (That use Bink audio/video) have one, they are all different, and they have the EXACT same name. >_<

You have to go to real time shield then File system shield then Expert settings.

Order the viruses in the chest by date, they should be at the top then
