Annoying MIC Problem

I'm having an issue that whenever I start the game my mic volume goes up to 100% on its own. Does any know how to stop this from happening?

By "mic" do you mean Headset/Headphones? I'm not sure what you mean by Mic going to 100%, unless you mean that you're always broadcasting over the voice chat. If that's the question, then it might be that you turned off the "Push to talk" option, which would have caused that. You can fix that by re-enabling "Push to Talk" in the settings menus.

My windows mic volume autos to 100% when I start the game is what I mean and yes my headset

I have the same issue. I'll be talking in like TeamSpeak then start up Blops2 and bam my mic cranks up to 100% orginal 30-35% and now i'm loud as hell.

seems to be a defualt with blops2. everytime someone opens thier mouth in game I swear its like a nuke goin off in yer head. I find the mute all option to be a fekkin wonderful thing

I have a similar issue, but the volume goes down.

easy fix, this is controlled via voice chat in the setting in the game, you will see voice chat record level, adjusting that and while having the system sound panel open you will see your microphone volume go down. Enjoy, Ive been hunting for a fix for about a year.
