not sure but try to reboot your router, do you have any other games on steam that work?

All online game works fine like CS:GO but CoD BO2 multiplayer,zombies wont start ONLINE. I have wired internet connection only cable no router nothing to reboot.

try to start the singleplayer mode and then switch to multiplayer, guys i am running out of ideas :)

"40.0.-1" just means that Steam can connect you with the online play of the game.
Keep trying or restart Steam until it helps..
...This also happens if the Steam services are offline.

So why i can't connect if all my services are ok?

i tryed to restart steam twice time but same problem, and steam sometimes goes to NO CONNECION after i close the game for 5seconds~

My solution: Disconnect the ethernet (wired) connection and eneabled the wireless connection and now it's work...

1. Verify game cache for Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Zombies.
2. Ensure Steam is up by looking at your Steam friends list. It will give you an error if Steam is not up.

4. Disable all antivirus programs.
5. Give black ops 2 full permission to access the net in your firewall(s).
6. Do not use wifi, use a physical cable connection between your router and computer.

I do all these steps but same problem now i dont have any idea how to fix that problem, i writed to steam support maybe they helps i don't know , i spend my money and i cant play....

My internet is not slow but i dont know wh ythis game wont run online....
