ADS Toggle not working.
ADS toggle not working.
For some reason when I try to zoom in it bugs out. I have it set to ads while holding instead of toggle. I hold down my right mouse button and sometimes the gun won't zoom in fully. Itll go like halfway and then back out. I keep holding the right mouse button and it will zoom in all the way for a few seconds than out and it just does this randomly. Tried three different mice. Can anyone help.

Not sure if I understand the problem here completely, but there are two ADS commands that you can bind. One simply says "ADS" and that's the one that you have to hold down in order to keep the weapon in ADS mode. The other one says "Toggle ADS" and that one is a click to turn on, click to turn off ADS sort of deal.

So, if you want ADS to stay on as long as you have the button held down, you need to make sure you bind ADS to the one that ONLY says "ADS". If you want it to be a click to turn on, click to turn off sort of thing, then you need to bind "Toggle ADS" option.

Thanks illumnaughty.
I am binding to "Toggle ADS"but weapon zoom drops out as if I was using simply ADS.

Hmm. I was going to try to get you to try an other mouse, but if you've tried three and still have the problem it must be something else. Certain actions will make you drop out of ADS like sprinting, reloading, throwing a grenade. Are you by any chance hitting one of these commands by mistake?

Also, it might be worth checking out your Mouse Options through the windows control panel. See if there's anything weird like one click to double click turned on or anything like that. Maybe try messing with your double click speed. And, it's a bit of a long shot, but if you have a mouse that lets you set macros, make sure that you aren't unknowingly using a weird macro (I had a sidewinder mouse for a while that could record macros and I didn't know about it, I thought my PC was possessed).

Same exact thing happens to me all of the time. I thought I had it fixed after I changed the depth of view but it started happening again the other day. Have you found out what the problem is?
