Keyboard randomly changing from azerty to qwerty lay out

First of all in Belgium we use azerty keyboards.
In game it regularly happens that after I die my keyboard randomly switches between keyboard lay out, meaning that before I died I could use my normal: z,q,d,s layout but after I respawn I suddenly have to use: w,a,s,d. I'm not used to using this lay out and using my hand with this lay out is really uncomfortable.

Small note: I don't hit the combination to swtich between lay outs (CTRL+SHIFT or ALT+SHIFT ) in game I don't even use these keys.

your keyboard is malfunctioning. or you accidentilly press ctrl shift. it can happen when you dont realise it.

Apparently it makes it easier for us to type french because we have 2 languages in my country.

exacly. when do you guys split up already? north belgium doesnt even wanna be with south belgium. i want north brabant to be bigger than the other provinces. i want the old benelux to reunite!

I want the french part to go with France and Flanders with the Netherlands.

What happens when you default your keys does it go back to azerty layout? Also what language of the game do you have?

When I exit the game it goes back to azerty layout if you mean that
And it's the English version of the game.

There is a button inside the controls menu that sets your controls to default, that's what I was referring to. But English should default to qwerty since that is an English keyboard so I don't think that will help you.

Have your tried setting your keys back to zqsd to see if it sticks or will it change multiple times?

- If it was an English keyboard it would have been qwerty by default and not azerty.

- As for setting my keys if I go to controls and I bind z to forward it would shows w as my binded key to go forward.

This happens almost every time I play black ops 2 it didn't happen before the latest patch so maybe there's a bug for peope that use azerty keyboards.

what i dont get is, you either learn to type with an qwerty or an azerty keyboard. what does it matter with which 1 its easier to type french with? if i type french with an azerty i would suck at it because im not used with that type of keyboard.

So when it shows W will Z work or will W work at first? Then when it switches when you die does it still say W in the menu?

When it shows w I can move forward using z and if I want to use standard load out I have to restart my game.
