Perma-banned from Blops 2; never hacked- 9 years on steam with Vac Status: In Good Standing.. Im lost.

an hour before my CEVO match I log in to a message which does not allow me to play on online servers; I've invested 300ish hours of legitiment gameplay although have been called a hacker by many people who most likely hit the report button; - I am sponsored by Nvidia and would put videos of livestream on youtube to display I was never hacking; - what do I do? who do I contact?

While you guys say that; After being on the phone with support - I was told I was one of few legitiment players that had been unfairly banned - They reviewed videos, my steam account, youtube / twitch - and took into consideration my Sponsors of Nvidia, Asus and Razer and the backlash that this is created ; Due to the developers being out of the office at this hour I was told earliest this issue would be resolved by tomorrow morning - latest tomorrow night into saturday morning.

As this occured during a live streamed tournament it was poor looking towards myself as a pro gamer and my sponsors whom I play for; I received an apology from both support and the supports manager. According to them "While banning suspected hackers hundreds of players who other players flagged as cheating on a commen basis in game had been permabanned on all platforms not just PC players; We apologize that this interfered with your tournament and we are looking into other players that received unfair bans"

I asked if any type of compensation could be given due to the potential lawsuit backlash from Nvidia etc for showing up to a live tournament playing; then waiting as a patch came out - getting on stage logging into a Ban Message and they responded that I will receive the season pass free of charge along with 300$ of Clothing / Posters of Black Ops 2 with 1 day of boosted XP to make up for what occured tonight.

Fair in my opinion but still out-rageous that I had been banned without cheating; just that players whom are poor that I pug against insta-report for suspecting me of cheating.

So to those who posted if you don't cheat you don't get banned - in this case Activision screwed up; and while all people banned initially sound the same thus I do not hold any resentment towards your responses; just know that others (not only I) have been banned unfairly after the recent patch.

Thank you guys for your initial responses; I await the phone-call tomorrow as I was told I would receive a call to my "Gaming Cell" along with an e-mail of apology and e-mail of the Case update.

Thank god that sanity still remains in the gaming scene.

But Thumbs UP for getting rid of hackers; I posted an article yesterday which I cited towards support all about the hackers stemming from an article on Kotaku which listed undetected by VAC cheats in a story about one man who hacks as a stress reliever; This article according to Activision created a 300% increase of hackers in ONE MONTH (christmas into early January).

I hope All of you look at this group called "Artificial Aiming" and ensure that steam finds a way to insta-account ban users of their hacks. They even have a CEVO team! (they can't hack due to Paladin application but they are the developers of these hacks and are hated by all legitiment players).

From a legit player to the other legit players who posted; Unfair bans do occur despite what initially was posted in the "Cheat" banhammer zero tolerance rules.

Now this worries me; My youtube videos have licensed music to the footage as I stream without sound for better FPS. - but that shouldn't get a perma-ban and hopefully this will be seen; also being an artist in development with Atlantic I always asked my A&R rep to contact and see if I could use the songs in question and these disputes had been given to youtube to unlock them for world-wide view due to permission being granted (They receive money from advertisements in exchange).

Same thing just happened to me. Only one issue, I'm not sponsored by anybody, yet I'm still banned.

Its pretty strange and I'm confused. All guys that create "banned for no reason" threads have 3-10 games or private community page. And here I see a guy with over 200 games, 9 years on steam etc. What if he really hasnt used hacks?
