Scorestreaks!

There's some talk and video about there being a bug in bo2 keeping your scorestreak points from adding up causing no scorestreaks to activate. Today I finally got them to activate for the first time. Since I was having a big problem with this I did some looking around. Didn't quiet find the answer but as I was watching this youtube video about unlocking scorestreaks and it dawned on me that I had not unlocked all of them so I did and finally they activated for the first time today. But keep in mind in every match every time you die your scorestreak points start over and over again. I don't like it but that's the way it is! I tell ya something I'm running a 6 core cpu, crossfire gpu's @ 1050 mhz, and the memory clock @ 5000 mhz, maximum voltage, maximum power, and maximum fan speed ;) with a 20 megabite broadband connection. SHADY STUFF PEEPS !!! Know what I mean?

Were you just unaware of how scorestreak mechanic works? How is that 'shady'

Yes People can actually be unaware of things in this world! Do you have any documented sources that state that you have to unlock all of your scorestreaks for them to work? If so please leave a link or where you learned about this to where I can validate your knowledge of the game! Oh yeah! I forgot to mention the $80.00 gaming mouse I have! Do I need to spend another $175.00 on a gaming keyboard? Think that's the problem? Or maybe I need a motherboard with PCIE 3.0! That's got to be it! lol !!! It's not me my equipment is to blame !!! ;)= I'm really hoping you can come to bat for me Satoru with that specific documented info about having to unlock all your scorestreaks for them to activate !!!

Okay Actual problem here- using an xbox 360 controller playing bo2 on steam, I cannot activate (or scroll) killstreaks. I see the control (d-pad) and it works for scrolling menus, so the controller is not faulty. I also tried using the keyboard controls, 3 for activating and 1,2 for next and prev. Altough I could switch between controller and mouse/keyboard controls even in a public match immediately and seamlessly, the keyboard controls also did not activate scorestreaks. I am level 9 and have unlocked scorestreaks, im trying to use UAV, Care Package and Lightning Strike without success. Help?

You realize that you have to get score streak points (kills/captures/...) to get score streaks and that in some modes (for example Team Death Match) the points are set to zero when you die?
Only in modes like CTF you keep the points when you die.

edit:
There is a perk for needing less points and there is a weapon attachment which destroys the streak points of other players when you hit them with the weapon.

Ive tried to reconfigure the keyboard AND controller control inputs with no success. Have you a solution or just ignorance?

I also posted a new thread in General discussions, but this 2013 thread was the only one that appears on a "scorestreaks" search so I posted here too. My mistake for shaking the nimrods in their coconut ape tree. Get back to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ those bananas, boys. Adios.

You could re-assign the keys.........Because the default keys are aids and counter-preductive.

If that dont work........Then no clue.

Maybe uninstall the game ...go back to xbox might help!
