KSG Shotgun tips?

So after I got gold camo on the R870 shotgun I decided to try to get diamond camo for the shotguns. Didn't think it would be this hard to aim the KSG to get a hit with the slug it shoots. I'm up to the blue tiger camo on it and four 1 shot kills away from the bloodshot camo but I feel like its taking me way longer than it did for the R870.

Any tips for mouse sensitivity, perks, attachments, game modes, etc?

I lowered my sensitivity from 12 to 7 and I've tried different combinations of perks and attachments, still can't find one that works for me to consistently get double digit kills with a decent KDR.

I need 5 bloodthirstys for gold. This gun is terrible. It misses near - point blank shots repeatedly when I use it. And loses in cqc to anyone spraying anything that also isn't a ksg, if you miss your first shot.

I just got my first bloodthirsty with it. Haven't unlocked enough camos for it to be counted though.

long barrel, reflex, stock. perks lightweight, toughnes, mask+dex. love its long range 1shot to the head but its rather move sensetive xD still for some reason just love this gun.

Put on the silencer with red dot sight and go to FFA. Easy kills everywhere, but don't rely on the reticule/rds too much, it seems as if the gun's aim is off somehow.

I've had diamond shotguns for a while now and despised the KSG. Always make sure you have Lightweight and Extreme Conditioning on shotguns, these are high mobility weapons and they want you to rush and flank. With the KSG, make sure you have the Long Barrel + Laser Sight and ALWAYS stop moving before you shoot. In a sense it's like trying to quickscope, if you move even slightly then the shot is ruined. Other than that, a dash of good luck goes a long way.

It misses cus the players you shoot are not where they are on your screen, on the server they are either behind or ahead, best way to get a kill is not aim at them.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=116451777 Just example of my KSG gameplay as many ppl will tell u not to spray (beggining may looks little campy, but i wanted to have EMP in case of highstreak heroes).

As u can see i use silencer and laser, i found that very powerfull combination and u just need to lear effective spray range. KSG has incredible range for shotie and silencer wont hit it so hard. I found other attachnemnts "not needed", especially fastmag is useless. Usefull perks are lightweight and conditioning ( i was running ghost+lightweight, scavanger, conditioning+engineer), also engineering OR flak+tac mask shoulkd be used. As for mouse sensitivity, use same sensitivity for all guns so they will all behave same.

The KSG seems to behave like a noiser Ballistic Knife with more ammo. Both require perfect aiming and timing to hit, and both seem to kill in one hit. The KSG is a bit more reliable and upgradeable but I prefer the knife, especially for the quicker stab mode when you miss at point blank range again. Master the knife and you'll probably master the KSG.
