Weird mouse movement...
Ok, this is strange...after playing some matches of Mwf3 and having a smooth experience...I come to BO2 right away and I feel that the response of the mouse is kind of delayed...something like "mouse lag". But I dont get it...If I just played MF3 with a smooth mouse experience, how is it come to be a bad experience in BO2?

Im trying to find some settings inside the game with no success...I dont have mouse acceleration enabled on windows....is there a way to have RAW IMPUT inside BO2 options?

Thanks

which mouse do you use? which connector does it use? are any available drivers installed and updated correctly?

Storm Inferno Cooler Master USB wired connection...all drivers up to date..BO2 being the only one with the little lag issue... :(

Strange, I just bought a new mouse (Sharkoon Drakonia) and it has the same effect, but only in Black Ops 2.... feels like mouse lag

Black ops 2 adds a 400-800ms delay to the player's mouse input. So when you're having a bad connection or either a bad computer/laptop this delay will be noticable more often.

So getting an expensive gaming mouse won't help you at all.
Just try to lower you graphics settings so that this delay is barely noticable.

Hope this helped.

Nightmare a 800ms delay? Are you serious? Do you have any idea how long that is? If you are seeing that you have a major problem with your system. I have no delay what so ever. You are probably on an under spec system. Post your specs to be sure.

A dev posted that this game uses all the windows settings. So whatever problem you're having might be solved by changing your windows settings. Try turning off acceleration in windows, minimizing game settings and closing all outside programs.

Sorry, made a typo. the delay is much less then that. but is DOES add a slight delay to the mouse movement.

It actually has something to do with your config files. The same thing happened in the first Black Ops as well - mouse sensitivity / mouse smoothing there was rather whacky as well - it seems to be a common thing in Treyarch CoDs. You could get around it by copying your cfg over from CoD4 / MW2-3 but now that all CFG files are encrypted, good luck with that.

Theres also a setting you should disable in0game and on your card control panel. Its called Vsync. Turn that off to reduce the mouse input time.

If you're an Nvidia user then:

Go into Nvidia control panel -> Manage 3D setting -> Turn Vsync OFF -> Max Buffered Frames -> 1

BO2 has a noticeable amount of input lag on PC, moreso than a lot of other shooters.

Disabling vsync in both Nvidia Control Panel and in the game has fixed the issue for me.

I had this same problem with all the call of duty's I own and a few other games. Spent a lot of time doing research and what I discovered was that some games cannot handle high polling rates. I have a logitech 700s wireless mouse and the software included lets me change the polling rate to a lower number. My mouse was set to a 500 polling rate so I turned it down to 200 and every game that I have had problems with works great now. So if you can find how to turn your polling rate down for your mouse this should work for you.
