how do i play against bots?

my buddy told me that he plays against bots on bo2 multiplayer but i cant figure out how to do it i just finished the campaign so i wanted to try out multiplayer but cant figure out how to play solo against bots

You gotta make custom match. And add ai players there. You can edit what guns they can use and stuff. Afair.....

Online>Custom games>Setup bots.
Easy as pie.
They are nowhere as bloodthirsty like their BO1 counterparts,but i still recommend setting them on "regular" difficulty in your first games.

Used to be able to play bots offline. Which was the best. But they stopped allowing that. Why? Why would they force players to play bots online only?
Now they disguise players as bots.. Have played bots a lot over the years. I know when I'm playing against a bot and when I'm playing against other players.
Bots aren't lagged. Players are.

Came to the discussions hoping for some kind of modding solution for playing games offline but seems like I'll need to steal my dads 360...
