Sensitivity
Well Same old question

I used to play Cs1.6 and CSGO with sensitivity 2.7 @ 400 DPI , win sensi default , no acc , rawinput 1
------------------------------
its 15.1 inch / 360
------------------------------

So now I started playing COD - its a lot fast paced than CS
Is my sensitivity too low for COD?

any old cod / cod4 promod players, please respond
:csgogun::csgocross:

UPDATE!!!!!
I am not asking about how High my DPI can go or how high I can set my sensitivity in BO2 menu,
All I am asking is that , 15 inch per 360 degree mouse movement is slow for COD or not

Just play with the sensitivity your comfortable with? Try out different settings and see what you do best with.

Am I misinterpreting your question or does this seem like it's redundant?

i am comfortable with what i posted (15.1 inch/360), cs needs more precious aiming , so I play with mid to low --

Cod has more fast paced action . thats why I asked if any pro cod player uses same or lower sensitivity .

I never understood people who ask about sensetivity, it's all prefference, you don't just use someone else's sensitivity/dpi just because he seems to play better.

20.50 on mouse

I wouldn't go lower than 500 or 650 DPI for COD. Around 800 to 1100 is best depending on your mouse pad and taste.

I'm old school Unreal Tournament/UT2K4 CTF and TDM, always been a low sens player. For COD- 15"+ for a 360 in game. 300dpi, 3.0 in game, and this mouse fix for windows-http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.com/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration-fix.html I lift my mouse a LOT. I find that the ONLY way for ME to be effective with low sense in COD games is to become godly at situational awareness- the flow of the battle, sound and most importantly, the kill feed coupled with sound and where your TEAMATES are. To be effective low sens COD, you have to know where everyone is, or where they're going to be, all the time. The mini map and all the red dots is a waste of time and takes your eyes off the battle, dont bother except perhaps when there is a friendly UAV. I like to watch the kill feed and listen. If I see that a teamate has died, on the kill feed, and hear that it is to my left, I devote a bit more attention to my left. Also, pay attention to where your teamates go, and note their names. If you see that the teammeate that JUST ran around the corner gets wasted, then you can almost bet a bad guy is coming around that corner. Almost always a gauranteed kill if your read for it. Turning up/adjusting your FOV might help you too, mostly personal pref.

Classes that will keep you off radar help with low sens as well. Mine- (hardcore) http://gyazo.com/e4e8f6cc8ef817fcb67e3a0cd17c56fe I switch to AN94 for non hardcore.

Something I just learned, is about the way the Ghost perk works. (probably late to the party :P) It isn't based on if your moving or not, its based on how fast yoru moving. For example, if you're aiming down sighs with an AR while moving, you still show on radar. You have to use the stock attachmnet to stay off radar, with ghost perk, while ADS with AR. for me black ops 2 is set to 5.10 with my mouse set to 2775 both for x and y. but some times i kick up the dpi on the fly to 3625 both for x and y with winodws set to 4.

I would think for you depending on how high your dpi can go for that mouse if it can go to around 2500 then i would do 8.10 with the dpi set to 2500, if your dpi can only go to 400 dpi then i would set it to around 75.50 with the dpi set to 400.

All I am asking is that , 15 inch per 360 degree mouse movement is slow for COD or not

My current mice allowes me to switch DPI on the fly and its upper limit is 4000DPI/CPI
But thats not my question .

As someone else stated, it's all down to your personal preference. Me personally, I would find 15" of movement for a 360 turn way to slow for this game, sure it'll help with long distance stability, but it's too slow for close quarters. I have my mouse set to 4kdpi, and ingame sensitivity set to 2.0, and it comes out to about 3" travel for a 360. No idea what windows is set to, never cared to look other than disable mouse smoothing.
KingMidasNV Jun 6, 2014 @ 7:32am
3" for a 360? :O Whoa. I wouldnt be able to make it out of spawn with crackhead sensitivity like that. :O If you try ultra low sense in blops2, the stock attachment is almost a must. Crank up your FOV a notch or two, and PAY ATTENTION TO WHATS GOING ON AROUND YOU. The low-sense, close-quarters issue isnt one if you position yourself as to have the bad guy in front of you all the time. Pay attention to when spawns flip, so that you dont get taken from behind. And dont stare at the minimap all the time.

MIght be worth watching some CS:GO streams on twitch.tv. Lots of knowledge there. MOst of what I say is just basic, competitive FPS gameplay fundemantals, which apply across most popular fps games. TitanFall, COD, CS etc.

I'm using default sensitivity ingame and 2.1k dpi, takes me less than a second to do a 720 turn lol, it's all about personal prefference as I said earlier and how experienced you are with fps games, I've been playing UT and Quake when I was 5 and a 1,8 sensitivity there equals just the same as my current config. For CS, the current config I have equals 4.3-4.8 sensitivity there.

EDIT: An other thing, depends exactly what kind of mousepad you're using or if you don't, what kind of material your mouse is on, each shows a differend resistance towards the mouse and causes it to behave in a differend way so asking for something like that is useless unless you provide that detail.
