Cheaters aren't getting banned, these infections are unable to be detected as the code injection works in some sneaky way that VAC doesn't see. It's fairly easy to tell if you've been RAT'd aswell. But yeah, BO2 is looking sad nowadays. Yes, if you're using a blatantly obvious cheat with basic DLL injection or GSC injection (like I did back in 2017 *i got vac banned on bo2 and learnt my lesson*) you'll get banned.
That's actually insane man, thanks for the information. Appreciate it, I guess BO2 just lost an active player because I'm not putting my PC at risk just so I can hit quad feeds and get a hit of dopamine.
A deep search through hidden files through your PC, usually if you look hard enough you'll find a suspicious file. You're likely to find these in your registry files, steam folder, appdata folders or just anywhere tbh.
