Unfortunatley, the integrated gpu's still suffer the issue, and there really isn't much you can do about it except close EVERYTHING down that isn't needed to keep Windows running or the game.
Edit: a SSD helps a bit, but that's not money I would throw at it to correct the issue.
Yup. I noticed that if I shut down some processes from Windows, the maps will load sometimes. I disabled SuperFetch and Cortana. They were taking up a lot of RAM.
Like I said earlier in the thread, I would read some guides on Windows proccesses and figure out how to shut everything down so only the bare minimum system threads and the game would be running.
You could buy an ssd, and see some gains, but that's still a bit pricey for minimal return.(assuming your laptop can only fit 1 hdd/ssd, and having to purchase a larger size drive to compare with the old one.)
Yeah, I lucked out when I had a 3770k and 980ti sli, never had an issue with any maps. Now with a 7700k and a 1080ti, I randomly get a disconnect like that, but only on Plaza, and maybe once every 30-40 matches on the map. It's especially prone to happen if the map is voted for 2 rounds in a row.
