NVIDIA Driver Crashes

Everytime I play the game, my NVIDIA Driver crashes (latest Version for Geforce GTX 750 TI). Anyone else with the same problems ?

I'm using a GTX 980 SC without any problems on Windows 10. What OS are you using?

Windows 8.1 ... and it really crashes the whole NVIDIA Systems. Also got the problem for example, that i cannot open Firefox (it also crashes again and again) after AN crushed.....

Could it be, that the temperature gets to high while gaming? I've had the same problem with my Nvidia card on my old rig. I "fixed" it eventually, by using MSI Afterburner. It is an overclocking program, but you can also use it to underclock your video card.

I recommend to download the program, underclock your video card a bit and see if the problem still occurs....if it doesn't, problem solved ;)

I also play Skrim e.g., without problems or some other titels. Even I've got no problem with the original Alan Wake...

I also get constant crashes. They hit pretty much always on the first missions when I pick up the empty battery. I have GTX 960 and my temperatures are around 30C, so that's not an issue.

Dropping to low graphical settings has decreased the amount of crashes significantly. Now the game is playable.

That sounds like an unstable card. Is it overclocked?

I haven't overclocked it and it's not labeled as a factory OC model. The card itself works well under heavy load and no other game crashes like this. Come to think of it, this card has not crashed a single time with any other game or software apart from American Nightmare.

This is pretty much no longer a real issue to me, because I was able to complete the game with no more crashes.

I have same problem for years now. This game always crashing my NVIDIA Driver. I had this problem on GTS250 and now on GTX750Ti. Normal Alan Wake works great. Other games (Arkham Knight, Dyinglight) works great.
