What are the best mods for Demigod? Particularly to the AI
Have been playing it for a while now, cant seem to not notice that the AI follows a strict pattern of strategy, and this leads to a tedious tournament as you are already playing the same Demigod in a row. Would also like some suggestions for item mods as well, thanks!!!

Check official Demigod's forum. There is a pack of mods 'you should use', made by Pacov. Here is the link: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/399399

I recommend you to activate 4 mods from this package in mod manager (game menu):
- Enchanced UI (UI gives you much more information about everything).
- Enchanced AI (AI is like 10 times better than original one - without this mod, there is basically no point to play against AI, it's so weak!).
- UberFix (fixing a lot of game bugs and problems, not affect game balance in most cases).
- BalanceMod (tries to make the game slightly more balanced).

This package also contains:
- No spirit citadel rush (minor mod, on most maps not important at all, so imo no sense to activate it).
- FavorMod (it adds more than 60 new items to the game - the problem is, it changes the game drastically and of course can create balance problems).

BTW: I'm wondering why devs didn't add this package to game patch, as some of those mods are pretty much crucial (like UI or AI mod). Especially, after installing mods, you still need to activate then in game menu, so installing don't force you to use those mods!

Have fun!

just one question, does it work in single player?
Poul Jul 2, 2015 @ 6:44am
If you activate the mod, it will work for both single player and multiplayer. But I strongly recommend you to play online. Why? Because you might actually find human/s there and have some additional fun. Playing with AI is fine, but playing with human/s is (usually) so much better.

Many people used to check Demigod open games website to see if there are any players or games online. Here is the open games website: http://www.demigodthegame.com/opengames.asp

Also, playing online won't make much difference for you, as you can host and play alone against AI there too. So it would be best to host the game, set the AI, wait few minutes (make some tea or something) and maybe someone will join your game meantime - if not, then start the game and play alone.
Of course you don't have to play 1v1 against human, I don't even recommend this. If there is already some game active, you can always join it and ask host to play in his team, against AI (2 humans vs 2 AI or 3 humans vs 3 AI). But the best games are of course humans vs humans.

Unfortunately, nowadays it's not that easy to meet people online, as this game is over 6-years old :(. But it's surely worth to try! You will realize it's so much funnier to cooperate with humans, talk with them, use some tactics or ask for help - things, which can't be done with AI.

all of the mods are really great, but correct me if the items mod (FavorMod) didn't add a lot, i didn't notice new items in the shop

FavorMod gives over 60 new items, so should be hard not to notice them ;).
Make sure the mod is enabled. Then check favor items (you will see like 3 new tabs on the left side of favor window). Also in regular shop you will see plenty of new items (tabs on the right side of the shop window).

it only works when I have disabled all the other mods, is it correct?

This is just plain ridiculous ! I'm guessing that somebody either didn't get the memo, or just couldn't be bothered to put in the required effort to make this mod pack as frustrating as possible !! i clicked the link, applied the mods and they all worked... I had no opportunity to spend hours fighting to make them work; no reason to delete the entire game in frustration... lazy work by the modder(s) . I'm sorry but improving a game without any drawbacks is not how mods are supposed to work....
