Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 1 Stuck.
I'm playing through the game, and everything is fine until I get to Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 1. Everytime I start-up this level the screen gets frozen at "Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 1" and won't go away. From the sound effects and music, I am still moving sonic around and can even exit the stage and even the entire game, but the screen still is frozen at "Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 1." Thus far this is the only stage this happens on, and I have no idea what is going on with the game.

Has this happen to anyone else, and if so, how did you resolve the issue?

Nope, I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the game but it had no effect.

Hi, just wanted to bump this post as I am having the same issue and have not resolved it.

Maybe we should compare system specs and see if there is a pattern? I am running Windows 10, GeForce GTX 970, and with a dual-monitor setup (only one screen being used for game).

I'm also running Windows 10 but with a GeForce GTX 750ti.

Hey, so I did some more testing, and this might seem silly because this game is like 5 years old, but try updating your GPU driver to the newest version. I just did so and now the level seems to be loading fine.

Okay, I updated my driver and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the advice.

I have this bug too. I do not know what a GPU driver is.

It's basicly the software that tells your computer how to use your graphics card. I don't know what OS you are using by if it's anything like Windows 10, go to your PC file and select Properties, then Device Manager and then Display adapters and you should see your video card. Click that and then try to find update driver.

If you have the CD that came with your graphics card then try popping that in, run the program then check for updates.

My NVIDA driver is up to date according to the computer when I checked. maybe everything defaulted back to intergrated processor?

No, it is using the NVIDiA card and yet the bug occurs. Any ideas why this is so?

The card is a GeForce GTX675MX

Did you restart your computer?

Yes. It says "\Display0" in the graphics device option in the configuration dialog so I don't know what card it's using, though it says it's using the NVIDIA one as default in the game files.

EDIT: Tried launching it from the files and it still crashed in Lost Labyrinth. As I said above, it says it's using my NVIDA card as default. Using the intergrated card is fine.

I don't know what to tell you. I don't know enough about computers to do a proper troubleshoot. Hopefully someone who know more about computers than I do will come on here and help you. The only help I can offer is to check your graphic settings since that seems to be the crux of the problem.

I'd just said above that the intergrated graphics solves the problem and I don't notice much difference in quality for this game when using them instead of my NVIDA card. I've used them when running into other graphics related problems before.
