Assuming you like Sonic games and Mario games about the same, Mario Wonder has a much better chance of not being a bug-ridden mess on launch.

Otherwise, get whichever you think you'll enjoy most. Or if your financial fortunes have been kind, both.

If you're asking then you'll probably go with Super Mario Bros Wonder on launch and get Sonic Superstars later.

Honestly Sega doesn't have a good track record with Sonic especially compared to Nintendo with Mario. You also have the fact that Sega has already shown that they ripped content to sell it as the Deluxe (beside artwork and soundtrack) while there is no sign that Nintendo has.
