The game itself is good, but . . .

I would like to buy both the first and the second, but the bundle costs more than buying them seperately.

Then I would suggest that you buy them separately.

Can't say anything about the expansions, as I didn't buy them.

The base game is what Masters of Orion 3 was suppose to be, in spirit. If you liked MoO 2 but thought 3 was a total train wreck, then this is a game you should get.

I will wait untill they get the bundle right, then I will buy.

I would pass on the first game, as GalCiv II is much better. GalCiv II is the Ultimate Edition so it comes with all it's expansions. So there is no need for a bundle. As for if GalCiv II is worth it, in my opinion it's still the best 4X game out and has aged very very well.

I would just get GalCiv2 if I were you.

Well, it's fixed now...the bundle is $5 less than buying them separately.

Galciv II is also very good in my opinion however i don't know how i managed to survive without the twilight of arnor ex[ansion as it makes the civs more detailed and such

It is definitily rewarding. Especially as each civilization has its unique approach and character. The game is a lot like my favourite 4x-game Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, where I would spend hours and hours absorped in rivalries with cunning AI opposition.

I never looked into this game...until today but after reading Sid's Alpha Centauri comment mentioned here (which to date is still on my top strategy games all time along with the expansion) I will definately get this immediately. I play all the great strat games...and I too am still fanatical about Alpha Cent/ALien Crossfire. Thanks for the post!
