The fighting in this game takes some getting used to, but if you practice (at the martial arts school for example) the fights become really enjoyable, since you can take out 10 guys without even getting touched. If you haven't already, try the mission "Amanda" before you do Club Bam Bam.
This game, unfortunetly, seem to best played with a controller. It is, afterall, a console port. The controlls aren't as refined for a m&k setup, though they are workable.
Look for the shrines. They are your best way to get health. Also, eat and get an energy drink to boost your regen and attack power before entering the club.
get knife demon guy first or better yet, find the shrines and statues to upgrade. You get one that prevents interrupts.
From the Screen Legends Pack DLC.
