As for the G27, we've only tested the ones mentioned in the initial post. If you don't mind, give the demo a try and let us know if it works :)
In theory all logitech wheels are supported, so shouldn't be a problem
FYI - You can download the (free) demo if you have any concerns about whether a wheel is working or not
My recommended settings are as follows:
104% Overall FFB effects
150% Spring Effect
50% Damper Effect
Rotation 720 degrees
The two biggest issues I have with the default FFB are the vibration and damping effects are way too strong by default, giving the wheel a sluggish feel (not in a realistic way imo). First I tried simply increasing overall ffb effects. Unfortunately this made the wheel vibrate like crazy even while the car was standing still. Luckily spring and damper were all it took to get it feeling good.
Thanks for getting wheel support in, it’s pretty solid and I’m surprised at how quickly you guys got it added in.
Any chance of clutch + h shifter support by any chance?
You know you can change the settings for force in the game options? The scale on there works nice for me. Also I generally go with upper dead zone in advanced of 80 percent (so 720 degrees)
I’ve found in the past with other games that generally it’s better to reduce the wheel rotation in the profiler rather than mess with outer dead zones as reducing the rotation in the profiler helps with ffb strength.
I actually just noticed the default outer deadzone in game is set to 80%, so i set that to 100% and lowered my steering degrees to 540, which improved ffb strength including making the damping stronger.
As a result I just completely disabled damping in the profiler and now it feels very good. Ffb response is stronger and doesn’t feel sluggish at all anymore.
New update coming in the next few days which should sort all of this.
