Fun game where you must work to grow a community and advance technology so that you can survive on the ocean.

I always wanted to try a colony sim but the concept of playing as a top down omniscient being who controls everything instead of being an actual player has always been a major turn off for me. That's why when I saw this game, it immediately interested me.

At the start it felt pretty slow, and a bit annoying at times if I'm being honest. But at the mid way point in the game it started to flow a lot smoother while still being challenging.

Once you fully automate everything, you'll have pretty much hit the end of the game. Which makes sense but it feels like there should be a little more. The game's still in Early Access so I can't blame it for that, I'm hoping the developers expand upon the end game and completion aspects as well as adding more achievements possibly.

I know this may sound over all negative but I did really enjoy the game.
I'd recommend Havendock to someone else who was interested in it for the same reasons. Personally, I love grindy games but if you're easily annoyed by tedious tasks, grinding, or micro-managing, maybe look elsewhere.
