Game crashes - Desmond memory

Hey,
I recently bought and installed the game. I have successfully played the first of Desmonds memories but for any of the others the game always crashes and says error 83.
I have tried restarting, running and walking into it, going in after doing something with Ezio and going in straight away as the first thing after starting the game.
Don't know what to do anymore. Kinda want to play the memories myself not just watch youtube videos. Thank you, I'm grateful for any ideas.

Well, I do know that the game has to reopen whenever you access a Desmond memory. So it isn't crashing, it's probably encountering an error while relaunching. Try running the game as administrator, allowing the game to bypass firewalls or verifying game cache.

This, yeah, your computer will pop up a window asking if you want to allow it through the firewall.

Just wanted to add though, Desmond's fragment adventures are actually a separate .exe, the game closes one and opens the other (and back again when you exit/finish his personal memory).
