bigmen41 was just trying to tell you how to do it next time you encounter a similar problem.

Because the "Toggle Right Mode" is the obvious wording of Toggle Silencer?

Thanks to this thread, had the same issue, the controls stuff wasn't obvious.

What the hell is "Toggle Right Mode" and "Toggle Left Mode" supposed to mean? Sure it's a simple answer (it puts the mod on the weapon) but that isn't that intuitive.

Come's from the console version. On PS4 silencer is put on by pressing right arrow and fire mode is selected (IIRC) by pressing left arrow.

I agree with Louna and Freyar. I looked here because I too had the same problem, even after checking my key bindings. I assumed "Toggle Left Mode" and "Toggle Right Mode" were for adjusting the first person perspective to switch between left-handed and right-handed.

How can you guys possibly think that such an odd solution is the obvious answer? The least you could do is be a bit more friendly about it next time.

Right...because when you break out Webster's Dictionary you would find that "Toggle" is more specifically defined as Attatch and "Right" is Silencer and "Mode" is Option or some ♥♥♥♥. Also, like the damn thing works too. Maybe I would actually like to toggle left as well (as in use a weapon left handed). If there is something that says attatch/detatch silencer then I apologize in advance (I checked already btw) otherwise, bigmen41 is just a smart ass and this game is a bit misleading when it comes to key bindings. Side note: if I am flaming an old thread then I don't care, I had the same issue because the developers don't understand the concept of a thesaurus, Sofore wanted to make some one look stupid and I'm too lazy to read deeper in the comments.

C is the standerd key for swapping fire modes on your guns (attaching silencer, switching to RPG launcher, switching to plasma gun mode, switching to cutter mode, switching to AP bounce rounds.) When using duel wield press Z to swap the left hand guns fire mode.
