Like the guy you are quoting my pc just DEMOLISHES Metro LL or the remake and any other game so far, bought this during th sale and the utterly @#$tty performance just has me utterly confused and baffled, I guess Bethesda can't program for crap.
I also can't seem to make any changes to the exe as steam says no to it, so I can only hope to get a damn refund for this ♥♥♥♥♥ because so far I've wasted 20 bucks that could have gone towards something that actually worked right.
turn off v-sync in game , then enable in the nvidia menu (force on).
install nvidia driver inspector program.
enable frame limiter for the game with driver inspector , set same as monitors refresh rate.
for example 60 FPS/Hz
then if you got SLI power.
in driver inspecter menu scroll down go to SLI section .
change nvidia predifined GPU's to use in SLI "One" to the number of cards you use. example "Two"
change Nvidia predifined SLI mode "Single" , to Nvidia predifined SLI mode "Auto-Select"
if problems in SLI , switch back to default predifened single and wait for updated nvidia drivers.
dont change settings at Global settings , but individual for each game.
works great on 1440p 60 hz with 2 x GTX 780 SLI.
single is possible too, with lower graphic effects and shadow settings
leave tripple buffering off
(this is only needed for adaptive vsync when it drops below 60 ,asfar as i know it gives more issues then good)
single monitor preferred.
I found out the hard way that having two monitors active when you start the game is a bad idea! AR
Tripple buffering isn't just for Adaptive V-Sync when it drops below 60fps.
I don't know where you get your information from but Tripple Buffering only works when V-Sync is turned on. It prevents the frame rate from locking in at 30fps when it drops below 60fps.
That's interesting, my Factory OC'd 670 from EVGA runs at stock 1006 - 1084 mhz but boosts to 1150mhz with mem clock at 6208 mhz effective.
Didn't have to downclock it at all to base 670 speeds. Although it does chug at certain places. But not horridly unplayable.
Even my fossil Core2Duo laptop can play it. Except my laptop has an AMD grahics card. I don't even know if I can turn off Catalyst without other issues.
Anyone know why W:TNO does not like multi monitor setups? ATM, I have to disconnect the second monitor or the screen resolution goes weird. AR
