Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order

where in Chapter-3 do you get the AR Marksman sniper rifle?
I ask this question, is because while sneaking around the security checkpoints and stealth-killing everybody, some of the wooden crates had Marksman ammo in it, but couldn't find the actual weapon. I looked practically everywhere, still nothing (playing through the Fergus timeline, by the way). Not to mention, I saw it equipped on this chapter, while watching a video collectibles guide on here.

So if anyone can provide a screenshot on where I can find it, it'll be a big help (and allowing me to find it when I play through the Wyatt timeline next).

You can only get it if you chose Whyatt (which you seem to know). Right at the start of the level as you are handed the assault rifle if you go past the car and look to your left you will see a building you can lockpick. Inside is a ladder up to the roof where you should find the Marksman rifle.

If that description isn't enough let me know and I'll try to go into more detail... its not really hidden or anything.

Not so, I went with fergus, and if you go behind the building where the more distant officer is, you can climb onto some boxes, which allow roof access, their you will find a marksman and a window to drop down into, Play with your new toy, one anoying thing about this game, no ryme or reason to what/when weapons you keep and lose.

You're totally right... I don't know if I forgot about it or I didn't find it. Nice find!

Well I played the Wyat line first (hardest part of the game is this, and living with the choice, along with Old blood), anyway, in Wyat I had fun dual weilding that, its quite powerful, and I wasn't going to accept not having it. I still miss the pipes though.

well dual-wielding knives is pretty cool, but like you said, not quite as good as dual-wielding pipes

that I didn't know about the boxes leading up to the roof access.

EDIT: the reason i'm playing through the Fergus Timeline on my first playthrough here, is to get all of the Health Upgrades first, before jumping into the Wyatt Timeline to get all of the Armor Upgrades. because if i'm gonna get the achievement for playing on the Uber Difficulty, I like to be prepared and not ♥♥♥♥ up.

Its fun re-playing this via chapter select, you can get immidiate access to rocket launcher attachment for the assault rifle and laser mode for the marksman.

Pay CLOSE attention when you access an advanced tech area, think pictures = what to push, won't say more to avoid spoilers, but you'll get a toy for one of your toys.
