Weapons I hate
Im so bored, im going to list weapons i hate and why.

Blunderbuss- Primary is low rate of fire, and little damage. 2nd ok does alot of damage quickly fine, But the splash is very small, and the damage per mana usage is terrible.

melee weps of any kind- useless against anything that can stun, useless against flyers, technically not useless against sappers but not the best idea either. Wasted slots for healing trinket, freedom trinket, etc.

Ice ammulet- low damage unless your hitting 1 thing at close range, useless 2nd attack. freezing has bad synergy with burning, which alot of things burn. Was great for flyer levels without the frostbats, but ever since the dwarf launcher came out who cares.

Teleport ring- no need to justify this

Alch satchel- Great weapon, large AOE, decent strength/mana usage, and great for getting combos. But I find it glitches often.

The Blunderbuss is pretty awesome when you fully upgrade it, choosing Unique 2.

What's always been great about OMD, first one and second, is that in all likelihood no two players have ever played the same level in exactly the same way, using the same traps, weapons, trinkets and tactics.

Each player finds the traps/weapons/trinkets that best suit their particular playstyle.

Aside from the TP ring, every weapon is great AND sucks, just to different people.

(TP ring sucks to everyone)

The burning synergy of ice amulet is annoying and has to be built around. However, it is a great weapon if used in proper correlation with other traps/weapons. It is great with both melee weapons and the blunderbuss (boosts their damage). Ice Amulet is also very effective in endless mode where the relatively low mana cost of the freeze really slows down big mobs for traps to have time to reset.

Also melee weapons are fantastic in endless mode where on certain levels you absolutely have to have one as there is no way to avoid close in encounters with large mobs and they hit multiple targets at a time, doing full and generous damage as compared to the ranged weapons. Unlike the cross bow where aim is required for a headshot (and decent damage) or the blunderbuss where missing is its own major punishment, they are easier to aim in the chaos and the bladestaff boosts survivability while the hammer (my fav) stuns and therefore deals with ogres and large trolls well.

One of my problems is that the flame trap is so darn effective (and one of my favs) so its hard to pair the amulet with it despite it being by far the best weapon at slowing mob advances.
