1 File Failing to Validate
Hi guys! I cannot get this game to work! I have reinstalled it altogether, and when I try to verify the cache, I get that error message...1 File Failing to Validate
Any clues?

I keep getting that cache validation error, but the file never downloads (always 0 Kb downloaded) and the game's working fine.
So I'm afraid that if your game's not working, the cause very likely lies somewhere else...

That's standard operating procedure for Validating Local Cache on any game - it will *always* return "1 file failed to Validate and will be re-downloaded".

If you see *more* than 1 file failing to Validate, that's a problem.

Try to check if your antivirus has detected the game .exe as a virus.
This happend to quite some people, they needed to tell their antivir to
ignore that file, because it got deleted instantly everytime they downloaded it.

[Edit] Do you get any error message as to why the game is not working?

Well, like Cougarific said, Steam always finds 1 file failing to validate, so it's not that.
And if it is not the false positive bug in your antivir software, I'm at a loss.

Let's try to find the error, because I believe this great game should be played! :)

How does this manifest?
Do you start the game from your library and nothing happens?
Or do you see something like a black screen, and then it goes back to desktop?

I have the same failed file verification. But my game loads...it's just when it does my mouse pointer automatically moves to the top left of my screen with constant input... doesn't do it in any other games, or desktop. Just OMD2. Help

If you have any kind of controller plugged in unplug it.
