Simple no would've been sufficient, and way shorter. Still.. Thanks bud :)
Next time try just saying Thank you.
Whos the bigger ass, the one who creates yet another repeated post instead of a 10 second google search, or the man who calls that guy out for being an idiot? Or maybe its the guy who calls the first guy an ass. Or maybe its me for typing this up and naming you all asses.
"Here you go I did you a solid and typed "local" into the Search Discussions box and hit Enter for you. Eight pages of existing posts on this topic have the answer to your question. "
nothing is more annoying than finding that
That's how I got here as well. Wondering whether this Orks Must Die 2 works Splitscreen.
Cougarific is an a*s. Yeah, the question has been asked 2000 times, who cares? It's easier to just ask people who know and are willing to help rather than look it up himself.
You could technically learn how to drive by yourself, but it's easier to have a teacher isn't it? You could learn biology by yourself, you could look up where is the milk in the store by yourself but it's easier to ask someone who already knows isn't it? It's also easy to answer.
If you consider replying to him a "waste of time" because the "question was already asked" that speaks volumes about your character. You don't want to answer? move along, nobody is forcing you, being an a*s was your own initiative, simple no would've been sufficient, and way shorter.
Actual answer:
Orcs Must Die 2 has online co-op through Steam. Orks Must Die 1 does not. Though you must find a partner yourself, there is no matchmaking, you should have no trouble finding people to play with on this forum, there are plenty of people still playing in 2019.
There is no split-screen or any form of local coop in the game. If you're looking for a similar Tower Defense Action type of game, Dungeon Defenders does 4 player split-screen on PC.
This website has a lot of coop games listed and mentions whether it has online, local or splitscreen: https://www.co-optimus.com/game/2548/pc/orcs-must-die-2.html
If you're just looking for PC split-screen games, some good titles are: A Way Out, Borderlands (works if modified), Dynasty Warrior 6, Gears of War 4, Goat Simulator, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, the LEGO series, Left 4 Dead (works if modified), Portal 2 (works if modified), Resident Evil 6, Rocket League, Serious Sam 2, Spiderman: Friend or Foe, The Escapists 2, Trine 2, Warriors Orochi 4 and Watchmen - The End Is Nigh.
I love how this thread keeps popping up from time to time after all that years.
And that's the problem. Right there. When you have a question, your first instinct isn't "figure out the answer through first-hand experience," nor is it even "Google it." It's not even "search the relevant community for a question regarding basic game features, which has ALMOST DEFINITELY already been answered." Any one of those solutions would yield the desired results in under one minute. Guaranteed.
Instead, your first instinct is "be a lazy a-hole and ask a question that is probably answered in every FAQ for every game you've ever played." So yes: the sarcastic reply is WELL-warranted and (a) shows the lazy a-hole how to not be a lazy a-hole next time and (b) provides the desired information.
In summation: when you have a problem (I don't care what the problem is), if you don't try to solve it yourself before asking for help, you're being a lazy a-hole. I don't even let my three-year-old get away with that nonsense.
