PVEはソロでできないという嘘ついてゲームの評価を下げようとするレビューがありますが、普通にソロでPVEできます。
現に私はソロでしかPVEに潜っていません。
このゲームもっさりしていて腕だけではなく知識判断力求められるので、スタイリッシュな戦闘を求める人や、ソロで潜る為の設定のように自身で調べる探るようなことができない人には向いていないかもしれません

PvEモードのおかげでメンタル弱くても出来るようになった！
とはいえポータル戦争は残っているので、死亡ログが少ない場合は早めに帰ったほうがいい

First of all, GREAT GAME. Anyone with 200+ hours who says otherwise is confused IMHO. *BUT* the game has a rather steep learning curve, ESPECIALLY for new players. Devs are trying to balance it but its difficult. i used to find myself lost on what to wear and what to build. so i made a website in case anyone wants to use it: Nezbuild.com (no ads or money, just for community)

I recommend Dark and Darker for its ADRENALINE RUSHING blend of PvPvE. Its high stakes and strategic depth make every run memorable. Better with friends

It wasn't my first time, but, this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me like no other

Dark and Darker is one of the most unique games that I have ever played. Give it a shot, you won't regret it - especially since PVE is a thing now.

pretty fun PvPvE game with unique combat system. Gather loot to bring back and become more powerful overtime, PvP is very difficult but PvE is very solid

I do enjoy Dark and Darker. The overall feel of the game play and the concepts behind the mechanics seems solid. There is definitely a D&D type atmosphere to this game. It is nice the devs finally added a PVE only option for the game. Unsurprisingly enough people have still found a way to shaft each other in this mode. I disagree with the devs decision to cap the loot at purples and have higher level items only for the PVP dungeons. It shouldn't matter if someone is able to get better gear in the PVE dungeon as if they try to take it into a PVP dungeon, with no PVP experience or ability, they are just going to get stomped any way.

When it comes to the PVP aspect, it is just awful. The call of duty/twitch mindset is so incredibly boring. There is so much opportunity to have interesting encounters with other players in this game. But, they usually just run in and start hitting you even if you put up zero resistance. Every once in a while you come across another player you will get into some light RP with you and it is very fun. Or, sometimes you can have some good discussions with other players over a campfire. The uneasy truces are my favorite part where you come across another player and neither of you know if you can trust the other.

The devs have a bolded and red warning when entering the high roller dungeons that no friendly encounters are allowed. I find this to be misguided. It promotes the idea of kill on sight rather than approach with caution. Which makes for boring gameplay.

Additionally, the matchmaking is truly atrocious. Last season, I was in the same high roller dungeon as the person who was #4 on the seasonal leaderboard. Multiple times. To put this in perspective, I was #76,572 (approximately). Not sure why I needed to get stomped by that guy who clearly had 100x the amount of time in this game than I did.

While I do not like the fact that so many players forget the E in the PvPvE label for this game, the different play styles, mechanics, and those uneasy truces keep me coming back because there is so much potential for Dark and Darker to be interesting. It just seems to be lost on so many twitchers.
