when you mouse over a stat in your inv menu it will give a description. if you want to know more about how damage is calculated theres an algorithm somewhere

can you log into the game? im getting the message couldn't connect to the server for like 2 hours or so.
Only thing worth remembering is 15 is baseline, below you get debuff, above you get a buff, stack according to your build preferences and test max possible stack of every stat to see how they perform, yes, even resourcefulness, I've seen powerful resourcefulness bonk cleric build with like 12 sec smite CD.
Base stats also have diminishing returns, eventually 1 str, or 1 physical power which adds 1% physical damage bonus will be .5% instead of 1. i think before you reach 15 (which is 0% instead of -%, it gives 2% then after 15 it gives 1%, then after 30 its .5% i think)
% increase stats like 'Physical damage bonus' itself doesn't have diminishing returns like str or power does, same thing for actionspeed vs dex.

there's also headshot damage bonus which is added ontop of the base 150% with a cap of 200%. Headshot damage bonus would scale after your physical power. IF you had ~30% power and 30% headshot damage, you will hurt....

If you're curious about damage numbers with weapon you're using; if you scroll to the bottem of your character sheet it'll tell you your "base damage" with phys bonus% scaled. if you have 0% headshot bonus add 50% to the damage shown, and thats what you're hitting if they had 0% pdr or you had more armor-pen than they did pdr....otherwise calculate 20-33% pdr from your base + headshot bonus and thats your damage.
tldr for stats under 15 there are steep penalties, and much worse under 10. Above 15 they typically add about 1% efficacy to the main thing they affect, and an additional .25/.5/.75 or 1% to the secondary things they affect.

str: 1% physical increase. adds about 1/4 a hp.
vigor: the other 3/4 a hp, increased regen speed while sitting.
will: 1% magical increase, ~1% buff & debuff duration. a little magic resist.
Knowl: ~2% cast speed, 1 memory cap, increased spell regen speed while sitting.
Dex: 3/4ths an action speed, 1/4th move speed.
Agi: The other 1/4ths of an action speed, the other 3/4 a move speed.
Resourceful: 1% cooldown speed (for q/e abilities). 'interact' faster with dungeon props (chests, doors, gold piles, etc). makes bard songs last a tiny bit longer on teammates (legacy feature: was a big deal for one patch and then all the teammate songs got nerfed to oblivion anyways).

and any single stat over ~40pts total, usually starts to diminish.

the system overall is out dated and poorly managed so the stats often have wildly different values depending on what weapon/spells you're using. some things scale awfully and some turn into one-shot builds, etc, with almost nothing useful existing in-between.

nuanced builds don't really exist anymore because stats just get nerfed and nerfed instead of tuned, so there's not really much they do besides provide a little flat scaling. so you dont really need to understand much more than dex/action speed=good, str/knowl=decent, will/agi=whatever, vigor=only way to scale hp so you have to have it.

typically you just get a few of whatever you want, unless you're following a cheese build thats not nerfed yet, that only wants you to stack one specific stat and do exactly one meme play style.

note: druid forms have special relationships with stats because most the forms have their own scaling formula. str for bear, agi for cat, res for chicken, will for penguin. sometimes they patch these to be OP and sometimes they nerf them. they are pretty nerfed right now but this can always change mid-wipe.

The forms themselves aside from panther with silence is a buff I think, though are just a reverted change. shapeshifting in general got a heavy nerf however....."action-speed abusing" with bear or panther it's still very strong and only got stronger under right circumstances.
Druid support remains basically unchanged.
New perks/spells are going to be added along with others for another class (i forget which 1), near the mid/end of this wipe.
I'm suspecting it'll be more support "stuff"... and maybe the gorilla form that was mentioned/leaked over a year ago, but if there's no new form, it's all probably support based.
