finding someone to play a game with is rough

I've only just got a laptop not long ago and have no mates on PC, I've been playing solos for like 20 hours and decided to play duos and wasn't able to match anyone neither in trios so I assume there is no match making???
Either way it sucks.

I've been looking around for someone to play a game with but it seems impossible to make a mate on PC without a game that directly adds a team together and usually those people just wanna play the game you met on.

I hate it, I just wanna run though a dungeon, have a larp and a laugh with a squad, but no one ever wants even say hi in a solo and i cant find others in the community outside the game.

there should be a button above the map icon that says something about "do not fill empty party slots" make sure thats not check-marked when trying to queue for duos or trios as a solo queue. you can also sit in the gathering hall for awhile untill you find someone.

If that is the case. check your audio settings and make sure VoIP is turned on, cause for some reason i have a feeling that's missing too. otherwise you wont hear people and they cant hear you if you're talking. i think the base Hotkey is "." to turn it on and "," to switch between party chat and proximity chat.

The rookie matching system is scuffed, only a small amount of players so your waiting like 2-3 mins for a game sometimes, I've been testing it on a smurf account through Epic

Try going to the arena, the matchmaking is much faster there and there are only trios

From my experience and without being rude at all because you could be an amazing person but every time someone complain about finding no one too play with it's usually because this same person is either boring either really strange. Like it says; there is a reason at your problem.

So either the problem come from you as being a person and you solve it or not, I believe it's wrong to tryna change his own self to find someone.
Either the problem come from the approach you have towards your research of friends adventures.

In any case you'd get a solution tho. You'd for sure find someone you'd vibe with on time.
I come from counter strike, few cursed words and fews game together is enough to make a friends, I'd assume it's not the same on any other more mature video game lmao, on DnD i used to encounter a lot of amazing person to play with, thanks to the matchup Q system. I'd suggest you discord servers or any plateformes like that, every one are the same at the end of the day, wanna play with someone. You'd for sure find your soulmates keep it up <3

Bro I've literally just uninstalled for the good of my mental health because i have to rely on match making for teammates and i'm actually gonna loose my s**t if I have to play even just one more single game with these npc AI silent bot team mates, i just can't do it, im done trying to reason with these people they just don't understand the video game im trying to play, it's like they live on a different plain of existence where logic and iq are but myth and legend. I just can't do it any more it's literally bad for my health to keep banging my head against a wall just trying to communicate with these **** *****

"larp and laugh" isn't a "normal" term. it might take awhile for bro to find people.
people don't find others from 1 game specifically to play other games; if it happens cool, you got a friend instead of an acquaintance, but it isn't normal. i got about 20-30 people on my list who i play this game with....while we talk about other games....we really only play D&D. whether or not its because we all enjoy the game vs others, who knows.

TLDR: there's def some truth to what you're saying. It could also stem from other insecurities other people have but that's normal.

play stoned. fixes all the issues. i be coming up with strategies in random queues and even when it makes 100% sense...fker still wanna charge solo and die in 2secs. i just laugh my ass off, call him out for being a dumbass, and hope next queue is different. sometimes i get them back to back....sometimes long enough to where they start listening to the logic....then i hit them with the "good, you're learning" x)))

Bro my rogue now has a red name even though I've never team killed with it once all because of me telling my team mates how special they are, I'm literally gonna have to make a new character just so people can't just team kill me for jokes without me being able to do anything about it. nearly as great as last seasons when i got red name because a team killer and his team mate both gave me bad karma after they killed me. Whole community are literally a just trolls who will cry and report you for not being nice when you call them out for having 0 IQ and proving that with their actions and choices, I'm dealing with children here so yeah I'm off the area where the grown ups live, peace.

i play sub 25 all the time and i use the auto-fill group system. i wish there was more options as what you could be queued as. like preferences, checkmark quests, pve, looting, bossing etc. cos almost every group i get, they immediately dive into pvp and rushing other groups, then they get mad if i'm not there with them, if i'm behind looting a chest. like cmon bro lets go to red and do a boss, do some quests... lets go and have an adventure. i'm so sick of this pvp bs that you just throw yourself at the enemy over and over cos death doesn't matter in that bracket.

i mean technically you could sit in gatheringhall until you got a full squad. Hopefully next season will see a re-introduction of it completely with a social space, and it would be easier to recruit people for different stuff.
