Dark and Darker

Dark and Darker

Literally nobody is doing RMT
even if they were it literally has no effect on you. There's nothing someone can get with bought gold you couldn't get with earned gold.

stop using it as a scapegoat for literally anything

Thank you. Finally somebody with more than 2 brain cells. Just because you're broke and don't know how to farm gold or pvp doesn't mean people are doing rmt or cheating.

Sounds a lot like what two RMTers would say.

Average 400 hour landmine rogue main who does nothing but sit in random dark corner not moving for 15 minutes.

Hey mister genius, type "Dark and Darker buy gold" into Google. Ten different selling gold sites pop up selling Dark and Darker gold. But hey, keep coping and telling yourself no one sells gold or items for real money.

They didn't say RMT didn't exist or happen. The argument being made is that just because someone else has items or gold that someone else doesn't, that doesn't mean that they automatically must be using RMT or cheating.

I have no clue why you're getting so hostile over something that you misread.

First off, he started the insults. Second off, if these gold places sell gold, people are buying it. Third off, I didn't misread anything. Forth off, if what I said was hostile, you might want to stay in your safe space.

White knight a little more.

Sounds like you have a lot of personal issues to work out if you're getting this worked up.

I have a friend who buys gold keys off someone for money then sells it for the gold. idk how much he's dropping per key....but blood is also not very good at the game despite having like over 300+hrs. he's always running away from the fight and escaping while the rest of us defend for our lives. I believe the people who are buying keys are just idiots in general. idiots who can't think, can't fight, they probably main a barb and hold W idk. my boy mains a druid so ig wouldn't check out. but RMT in general really isn't as big of an issue as people wanna make it out to be. if someone is dropping $100 for a kit (dumb idea and they probably don't have bills to pay), they more than likely would run away to try and save their money, idk. if i lost to someone it isnt because they rmt'd.
RMTers are usually pretty bad at the game too, so unless you are in a lobby full of them working together they are essentially loot pinatas.

I'm waiting for Elon Musk to show up with his bis character.

RMT = Real Money Transaction, to get money you first must print money. Who is Printing the money? Ironmace, otherwise they're openly admitting they've a hacker problem. Either way, people are breaking the law, and the general user is the only victim of concern.

Do you understand why RMT is an issue now?
RMTer defends rmt or pretends it doesn't exist, cool story bro when some items cost like 20k on the market

is there proof IronMace is making profit off of people buying gold? like....no matter what game, runescape, wakfu, eso, neverwinter, etc...theres always people selling gold. In Morocco some pay their bills and other things off of it (i've met a few who sold "kamas" on dofus). whether they're a "spooky" mafia organization or not people have always only made assumptions about them from what i've seen, tho Osrs does have a legitimate mafia/syndicate incidents i believe (i think theres like dozens of youtube videos, but i don't play that myself).

anyone buying gold in this game is dumb.
they spend money to buy a kit for a character that they haven't tested, to kill pve and run from players or at least aren't as aggro as people who can actually earn that ♥♥♥♥ in a day.
you can go into hr with a 'low-balled' kit and make your money back 10fold if you kill someone with a decent kit; you don't have to be a god at the game, i've had people literally fall into my lap after getting stuck or just being low hp in general. the people who rmt generally don't know stats or synergies to builds either, they'll focus on either raw phys power and can only tank 2 hits (and they miss every hit xD) or go either full hp but no pdr, or max hp and no pdr (for some reason i don't find "in-betweens"). they more than likely don't have quests done, so they're not crafting void blade, demons glee, cyclops vision, etc, muchless know how to build for that stuff to begin with so arena is probably out the window for them or they're just going to lose money waaay to quick to people who know what they're doing.

The only time when RMT is an issue is when you drop your rent to buy a kit and lose it all to 2smack timmy to resell on the market....then bros crying the guy was hacking cause he lost his god kit he spent his rent on x).

the game/devs aren't really using predatory tactics and until they do or its obvious nothing regarding it will change. while they have a form of "loot boxes" with their leveling drops per 10 levels, it only encourages people to play more not spend more.

I would never go as far as to say that Iron Mace are making money from RMT but i feel like there's a conflict of interest somewhere with the testers or streaming community.

didn't Diablo 3, when it launched, have a actual market where you could buy gear for actual money? AND the devs were taking like a 3% commission off each purchase?(idk about the 3% thing i might have it mixed with something else). like i get that Diablo is completely different vs an extraction AND they were forced to shut it down....but like....its nowhere near that (not like it could be anyways), which actually, people are still playing old diablo 2 and selling (singular) items actually worth over $200-500, just to lose it to a 1v1 (cause some servers its pvp for your gear but its VOLUNTARY to fight...at least most of them are i believe.) but you know what....devs aren't making a cent off those purchases. Better claims could be made about the "anti-cheat selling info" and i'd still feel like that'd be a bust, but thats a different pill thats already been discussed.
