Unstable fps
I've noticed this game is really poorly optimized and I'm struggling with constant fps drops. They drop from 180 to 90-120 which on a 144hz monitor is really making things difficult. For context, my PC easily handles Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra with stable 150fps.

I tried playing with graphic options, but nothing worked. Google didn't help either, every tutorial is about the ingame options. Does anyone know another way to improve the fps?

Ryzen 7 5800X
Radeon RX 6950 XT
32GB RAM

The least you can do is to post your config if you're actually expecting an answer

I've noticed frame drops and performance drops compared to previous patch, it was pretty much flawless before, maybe wait for the hotfix patch
I got a 5800H and a 3070

Fair point lol. Edited my specs in, thanks for reminding me.

Started having the same issues as well since the last update, it happened briefly before but now I'm getting the same problems, Running anywhere from 120 to 180 depending on scenario, but then I get insane drops to 50-80 fps and stuttering to boot, thats practically a 100fps frame drop and it's pretty wild to happen suddenly mid-fight or something xD

And for clarification:
RTX 4080
i9 10900K
32GB RAM
Windows 10

FPS drops happens when an enemy player is near which can a good indicator if there is an enemy player nearby lol

And you can die happy with the knowledge that you at least knew he was coming

Yes this is correct, fps drops occur due to poor optimization. It can be disturbing especially during fights. Fps occurs when a player loads into a chunk nearby which can indeed be an indicator. The anti cheat software also destroys your hardware and also cause fps drops. They really should prioritize optimization

I did some work to increase my fps in games in general, decrease CPU temps etc etc and even tho it worked perfectly fine in basically every game, even DnD got some fps boosts, it still suffers from massive fps drops. They really should prioritize this. There's nothing else I can do

This may be months old, But this is still an issue. The game is not optimized when it comes to CPU Scheduling.
- It seems that the game runs every AI in the game on One thread, Also not to say that there is no Frostum Culling, or even if there is one, it is not implemented properly.
- Whenever tons of mobs are on-screen, the fps-drops, even if they're behind walls which concurrently means just what I said above.
- So, Mobs AI is not optimized, Player Culling is non existent, Occlusion Culling is non existent, Frostum Culling is non existent, LOD meshes non existent.
- So far the game is completely unoptimized, and depending on the map/area, you could be running above 120Hz, or Running at a CRT refreshrate of 30Hz.
- Also, frametimes are spiking like crazy, in most games this literally means poor optimization overall.

In summary, This just sucks and this should be their #1 Priority now, Fighting players with mobs around them at 30 FPS and lower is Crazy. :SnakeWeird:

On the upside, the game does a better job loading environments than, say, Silent Hill 2. Transversal stutter has been a pain point on UE5, but not for this game. I haven't had any major FPS drops except on ruins in a couple of the eastern modules.

For all people who think this game have good optimisation its just because you dont record with obs + RTSS for look your fps wheen you fight, me i play at Fortnite and Apex legend and i have 150 fps minimum in all situation and in this game with 15 players only by game i have like 50, 90 fps minimum and its very bad for me !

Devs need update for better performance because its just like this💩
